The Louisiana Young Heroes Program, presented by Louisiana Public Broadcasting, recognizes outstanding students in grades 9–12 who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership in public service, and strength of character, or who have persevered through significant adversity. These honorees are celebrated not only for their achievements but for the meaningful impact they make within their communities.
Superintendent Jeff Powell and Principal John Neal proudly presented Maylie Stanley with the 2026 Louisiana Young Heroes Award. Congratulations Maylie!
